Conscious Evolution

November 24, 2020

Whether you are spiritual or not, everyone lives life with their own trajectory – from their perspective and comprehension, with their own idiosyncrasies, by their own identifications, etc, trying to declare their purpose. At the same time, we all have similarities and differences. We all have different capacities, mistakes and karma, battles, stress levels, pasts, goals, cultures, norms, yet we all have the overall capability to change. While there is no certified manual, there are countless ways to stay aware and present, with purpose of recognizing and changing patterns.

Hermes Trismegistus said, “As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul…” in The Emerald Tablet, which is a sacred book meant to connect the mind, body, and soul by understanding the endless connection of self and the universe, all highly complex matters. We have continuous interpretations and a “continuity of perception…” like “reincarnation, a process in which a finite being will go through a series of transmutations and will perceive different things (Frederick Lenz.”

Although, as a concept, it is difficult to comprehend that “time is an illusion”, consciousness is forever changing (Carlo Rovelli). Past, present, and future are all relevant and occurring instantaneously, yet we have become accustomed to the norm of the concept of time.  We are all made of “energy”, in which we all know, for the most part, “can never be created nor destroyed” (Albert Einstein, First Law of Thermodynamics).  Energy within and without is not meant to remain stagnant, it is meant to be transmuted and functionalized.

Similarly, conscious evolution has no beginning nor end and is always in effect collectively to some degree; thus, we self-transform and transcend, physically and mentally, and singularly and as a species.  People at a highly conscious level have most likely worked vigorously in shifting their consciousness from intentionally attaining high self-control, becoming more philosophical, selfless, connected, and reprogramming their mentality, staying at a high frequency state, etc.  To evolve consciously, it is important to take accountability for actions, to stay mindful of what you need to let go of in order to proceed forward, and to be selective with what you resonate with, and how you perceive your surrounds. Self-awareness and reflection are both crucial aspects of conscious evolution to make the most of life as a journey.

Furthermore, many things can prevent conscious evolution such as fear, doubt, ego and entitlement, false reality, denial, trauma, etc, which slows down our ability to change and ascend. In order to change, one must first recognize what it is that needs to be changed. The human brain operates like a machine and remembers things subconsciously, making us “creatures of habit”, how we can function mechanically without using much direct conscious effort (Edgar Rice Burroughs). Thus, once it works to recognize a pattern worth changing, it begins to rebuild an operating program, which eventually shifts the human conscious. As humans collectively change, the conscious shifts and evolves as a whole. Whether or not we realize it, the human conscious is perpetually evolving. Our purpose is to evolve and find truth and light through making conscious choices.
